Eye Examinations

Take about 60 minutes*, ALL of which is spent with the optometrist of your choice and includes:

  • Your ocular and general health history, visual tasks, hobbies
  • Checking vision, prescription, muscle balance, peripheral vision
  • Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) Scan: a 3D scan of your eye structures in 10 minutes, completely painless and non-invasive with instant results! It’s the gold standard for early detection of eye diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease
  • Eye health check: using a high-powered microscope to examine eye structures from front to back
  • Digital Retinal Imaging: a photograph of your retina, the light-sensitive tissue at the back of your eyes
  • Eye pressure test for glaucoma
  • Tear film
  • Discussion on examination findings eg. any visual correction requirements, and lifestyle and dietary changes to benefit your eye health
